Expedient Highlights Use of VMware NSX® Through Full Slate of Activities at VMworld 2017

Expedient, a cloud computing and data center infrastructure as a service (IaaS) provider, today announced that it will be promoting its recent successes with VMware NSX® in a slate of presentations and activities at VMworld® 2017, August 27 – 31 in Las Vegas, NV.

The week kicks off on Monday, August 28 with Expedient's supporting sponsorship of Zerto's "Journey to the Cloud" party at the House of Blues in Mandalay Bay. Alongside host Zerto and presenting sponsor Nutanix, Expedient is bringing Chick Jagger, a female-fronted Rolling Stones cover band, and Voyage, the world's top Journey tribute band, to nearly 2,000 VMworld attendees.

On Wednesday, August 30, Expedient Solutions Architect – and VMware Certified Design Expert (VCDX) – Brent Meadows will present a Community TechTalk inside VMvillage entitled "Preparing to Migrate to the Cloud." During his session, Meadows will address the most common issues he encounters when helping clients determine their roadmap for a move to the cloud.

And on Thursday, August 31, Expedient's Vice President of Product Strategy, John White, presents his VMworld breakout session entitled "Use NSX to Deploy a Secure Virtual Network Bridging Multiple Locations for a True Hybrid Cloud." White is making his second consecutive speaking appearance at VMworld and will be sharing details about Expedient's success in utilizing NSX for its Disaster Recovery as a Service solutions.

Throughout the course of the week, Expedient and its customer TIC Gums will also be featured in several VMworld panel discussions and case study sessions, including a session on Tuesday, August 29 in which members of the TIC Gums team will discuss "Choosing the Ideal Cloud Provider Partner" and how Expedient's On-Site Private Cloud with Disaster Recovery as a Service led them to the outcome they were looking for.
